Join CPC for a timely discussion on the first year of Local Law 97 (LL97) compliance and what’s ahead for New York City building owners and operators.

LL97 is aimed at reducing emissions from NYC's largest buildings setting progressively stricter carbon limits for most buildings over 25,000 square feet. The law is targeting a 40% reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2050. The Department of Buildings (DOB) will share key lessons learned and guidance for building owners focused on complying with the regulations while improving the performance of their buildings.

The session will also feature two NYC buildings, highlighting their retrofit approaches and pathways to achieving LL97 compliance — offering actionable strategies for building owners and operators.

Izzy Nesci, Associate, Sustainability Programs, CPC, Moderator

Beth Golub, Director of Sustainability Policy & Legal Affairs, NYC DOB

Yajun Li, Senior Associate, NYCEEC
